The suggestion made by
women’s magazine, Marie Claire in one of its
articles, with other recommendations to use food, drink and exercise to
induce monthly period was quickly
debunked by a team of doctors that It will
only harm such woman and induce instead, a
health hazard that can life
threatening . They say it was a very irresponsible advice to put parsley
in the vagina to induce period as there is no any scientific to support the
claims.
Women for a reason or
the other, may want to control their monthly cycle may be because of an event,
or for some preparation towards some special events
Emmenagogue - a
substance that augments menstrual flow - which can 'make the cervix tender and control
hormonal imbalances' says the article.
But doctors strongly advised that
insertion of foreign object into the vagina could pose
a serious threat to organ and
the life
of the woman in general, so
people should desist from the use
of parsley for such purpose.
